    STEP 1

How to bake cheese cakes in a frying pan? Prepare the following ingredients for making cheesecakes. Products for cooking can be taken directly from the refrigerator. My kefir is 3.2% fat, I used Russian cheese, premium flour, pre-sifted with baking powder. Prepare a non-stick frying pan for frying the flatbreads.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour kefir into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt and soda to it, and mix everything. You can use a whisk or a regular fork. Leave the bowl for five minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

After five minutes, add pre-grated cheese to the liquid ingredients. Mix everything evenly.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the sifted flour into the bowl in parts and stir each time. You may need more or less flour from the specified amount. It depends on the properties and quality of the flour. Therefore, when kneading, focus on the consistency of the dough. Knead a thick elastic dough and gather it into a ball. The consistency of this dough is very soft, tender and sticky.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Divide the finished dough into several equal parts. Roll each part into a bun, then roll it out on a board into a flat cake. Koloboks roll out well into flat cakes with or without flour on the table.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a non-stick frying pan (I don’t know if they will cook in a regular frying pan, I haven’t tried it) over high heat, then reduce the heat. Place the flatbread in a dry frying pan and fry on each side for about five minutes with the lid closed over medium heat. The time will depend on the thickness of the products themselves; the thicker they are, the longer it may take to cook them.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Ready-made flatbreads with cheese are good either hot, warm or cooled. Perfect for breakfast, lunch and everyday snacking.

I liked the kefir version of the dough. Yeast cakes with cheese are also soft and fluffy.

I usually make simple flatbreads without any additional ingredients. This time I wanted to try something new, and I decided to make cheese flatbreads in a frying pan. I replaced kefir with the same amount of milk, fermented with less than a tablespoon of vinegar. I had a few pieces of cheese left in the refrigerator, so I used them. It turned out to be about 150 grams of grated cheese. Divided the dough into 13 parts of 50-55 grams. The flatbreads turned out to be approximately 12.5 cm in diameter. I fried them in a frying pan for one minute on each side. The flatbreads turned out wonderful. They have a very pleasant cheesy taste. Despite the fact that I rolled them out quite thinly, due to the baking powder they rose a little. The flatbreads have a very pleasant aroma of simple, inconvenient, yeast-free baked goods. I made cheese scones for breakfast as a stand-alone dish, but I think they would be great as an addition to soup, porridge, or as a base for sandwiches. Thanks a lot for the recipe!

I prepared cheese cakes in a frying pan for tea using this recipe. Kefir took 3.2%, room temperature. My cheese is Tilsiter. It took 400 grams of flour. From the specified amount of ingredients, 6 flat cakes with a diameter of 17.5 centimeters were obtained. I fried the flatbreads in a dry cast-iron frying pan, they didn’t stick and fried well and quickly. Served hot. I greased the top with a little butter. This dish is easy and quick to prepare, and it turns out incredibly delicious! I really liked it and will add the recipe to my stash!
