My husband loves fish very much, so I cook it quite often. This time I had a couple of carp in my hands. True, I received them already peeled and ripped open, which is very pleasing) All I had to do was marinate and bake. Cooking fish in the oven is a pleasure, the kitchen is clean and you don’t need to spend a lot of time cooking. I didn't have thyme. But there was dried thyme. I also added ready-made spices for fish, dried basil, dill, a little dried rosemary and dried tomatoes. I forgot to leave the lemon for the fish, but for this case I always have lemon juice ready. I marinated the carp with this marinade, stuffed the belly with onion and sweet pepper rings. I also put onions on top for juiciness. The fish bakes perfectly in foil and doesn’t fall apart, I liked this method. The fish turned out delicious, the spices cover up the smell of the fish well (we don’t like it), lemon juice generally goes well with the fish, making it soft, juicy and tasty. Served with vegetable salad. My husband praised me)
