Canned sardine cutlets with rice

A tasty, satisfying and very inexpensive dish! These cutlets can be cooked with any canned food, but only in oil, of course. You can also take either round or oblong rice - this will not affect the taste of the cutlets! Fish cutlets with rice are very filling, tasty and quite a budget dish! It doesn’t take long to cook and you get quite a decent number of cutlets)

I was interested in the recipe: canned sardine cutlets with rice and decided to make it for dinner. I boiled the rice and drained the liquid from the canned food. Mash the sardine pieces with a fork. Finely chopped the onion and fried until golden brown. I mixed rice, mashed canned food, fried onions, finely chopped dill, salt and pepper in a bowl. Then added the eggs and mixed thoroughly again. I formed cutlets, rolled them in breadcrumbs and fried them in vegetable oil until cooked on both sides. The cutlets are simply superb: tender, filling and very tasty. This was my first time making these cutlets and now I know for sure that I will make them again. Thanks to the author for the great recipe and I recommend trying it!

Wow ! It would never even occur to me to cook cutlets from canned food; there’s no need to ask about their taste, you just have to try it! You'll either like it here or not - it's still canned food. This is a new idea for me - thanks Angel!
