Cake with fondant bow Bouquet of roses
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
For the cakes, beat eggs with sugar. Separately mix sour cream and condensed milk and mix together with eggs and sugar. Add sifted flour with slaked soda, mix until smooth. Add chopped walnuts and mix. Divide the dough into 2 parts. We leave it alone.
STEP 2
Add cocoa to another.
STEP 3
I needed a big cake, so I made it directly onto baking sheets.
STEP 4
gently spread the dough. So I got 4 cakes.
STEP 5
everyone has different ovens, in the recipe from which I made it says to bake each cake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees, but my cakes are thin and they baked for about 15 minutes and my oven is a “beast”, 150 was enough degrees. Beat the softened butter with a mixer, gradually adding condensed milk, beat until smooth. Place in the refrigerator while the cakes are prepared.
STEP 6
Soak the finished cakes in sweet syrup.
STEP 7
We assemble our cake, coating it with cream. Since I was doing it for the first time and didn’t know how my roses would lay, I decided to play it safe and added dye to the cream, so to speak, to disguise it as leaves, but as it turned out, it was completely in vain, the flowers lay tightly and nothing showed through. Place in the refrigerator until the cream hardens.
STEP 8
we take it out, level it further, someone takes a hot knife. but everything was fine with me anyway.
STEP 9
We take our prepared roses on toothpicks, I added a step-by-step recipe earlier.
STEP 10
I also made green buds for our roses, but this turned out to be of no use either, they are still not visible in the bouquet.
STEP 11
and insert our roses with toothpicks directly into the cake.
STEP 12
add leaves.
STEP 13
We make light green mastic, I used a 200g pack of marshmallows. specifically for this coating. For color I mixed 2 colors, green and yellow. Roll out with a rolling pin, NOT THIN! I also have a shaped rolling pin, but the pattern doesn’t stick well with homemade mastic, I’ll have to remember that)))
STEP 14
cover our cake and smooth it out.
STEP 15
add our prepared bow, the step-by-step recipe is also in my book separately.
STEP 16
what flowers even without a card, I was asked to write exactly this, because you can be more original)))
STEP 17
The cake is assembled, but something is missing...))
STEP 18
view from above))) And to make our cake sparkle, we dilute honey and vodka in equal parts, take a brush and go!))) I took the photos at night, so the photos are not bright.
STEP 19
This is a photo during the day, at least you can see the real color here)))
STEP 20
from all angles)))
STEP 21
Bon appetit!!!!!!!
