Prepare the ingredients needed for the recipe in advance.

Sift all dry ingredients together into a shallow bowl.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat with 40 g of sugar.

Gently mix the whipped whites with the yolks and add the sifted dry mixture to this mixture. Mix thoroughly into a homogeneous mass.

Then mix water and oil and heat in a steam bath until boiling. Slowly pour the mixture of water and oil into the dough. Mix the dough well until it has a homogeneous consistency.

Take a suitable mold or deep frying pan and line it with parchment paper. It is better not to grease the paper; the dough will come out smoother.

Bake at 175°C for approximately 40 minutes. Before cutting the biscuit, it should rest for a while so that the dough does not crumble when cutting. Then cut into two layers.

Custard is perfect for this cake. It goes very well with the banana flavor. Mix eggs with flour. Mix well.

Pour milk and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Slowly pour the mixture of eggs and flour into the boiling mass, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil without ceasing to stir so that lumps do not form. Then turn off the heat and continue for 1 minute. continuously stirring the cream, add vanilla sugar.

Peel the bananas and cut into thin oval slices.
STEP 12

When all the components are ready, start decorating the cake. Grease one cake layer with cream and evenly spread banana slices around the entire perimeter. Decorate the second cake in the same way.
