STEP 1
How to make a cake in the microwave in 5 minutes quickly and tasty? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2
Wash the egg under running warm water and baking soda to remove dirt and bacteria, break it into a bowl. Pour milk into it; it can be of any fat content. The main thing is that the milk is fresh and natural.
STEP 3
Pour sugar, preferably finely ground, into a bowl with the egg and milk. It can be either regular white sugar, cane sugar or brown sugar.
STEP 4
Pour vegetable oil into a bowl. The oil must be refined so that the smell of the seeds does not overwhelm the aroma of the other ingredients. You can also take olive oil.
STEP 5
Beat everything until smooth. This can be done manually using a whisk, or use a mixer.
STEP 6
Sift the wheat flour into a bowl with the mixture through a fine sieve. This will get rid of debris, if there was any, and saturate the flour with oxygen. It is best to take the highest grade flour; the baked goods will be more airy. You may need less or more flour, depending on the desired consistency of the dough.
STEP 7
Add cocoa powder to the bowl. Cocoa must be of the highest quality without any additives in the form of sugar or milk powder. And it’s best to sift the cocoa powder, like the flour, to break up all possible lumps and mix it evenly into the dough.
STEP 8
Add baking powder and vanilla sugar. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can add vanilla or vanillin. But if you change the vanilla sugar, the weight will be different. Add vanillin at the tip of a knife, as more can add bitterness to the finished dish.
STEP 9
Mix everything well until smooth. The dough should be like thick sour cream.
STEP 10
Take a microwave-safe dish and grease it with vegetable oil. Line the bottom with baking paper. If you like tall cakes like we do, take a mold with a diameter of 12-14 centimeters. If the cakes are made of two layers, a mold with a diameter of 18 centimeters is quite suitable.
STEP 11
Place the dough into the pan and smooth it out. Make a small indentation in the middle of the dough. This will allow the finished cake to avoid the top from rising in a mound and remain flat.
STEP 12
Place the pan in the microwave on the turntable and close the door. Cook at 900 W for 3-4 minutes. First bake for 3 minutes, check for doneness and if necessary turn on for another 1 minute. After the shutdown signal, leave it inside for another 5 minutes to allow the biscuit to finish cooking.
STEP 13
Remove the pan from the microwave and remove the finished biscuit. Remove the paper from the bottom of the cake and place it on a wire rack until it cools completely. You can take the grill rack from a microwave oven. And do not leave the sponge cake in the mold, it will become damp from the steam as it cools.
STEP 14
Cut the cooled sponge cake into 3 layers.
STEP 15
Brush the bottom layer with chocolate spread. Instead, you can take boiled condensed milk or whip cream.
STEP 16
Coat the layers like this and assemble the cake.
STEP 17
Coat the entire cake with chocolate paste. Leave a little for decoration.
STEP 18
Dry the walnuts a little in a dry frying pan, chop with a knife or in a blender and sprinkle on the sides and surface of the cake, pressing.
STEP 19
Decorate the top with the reserved chocolate spread and serve. Or put it in the refrigerator for several hours to soak.
STEP 20
Serve the cake with hot, aromatic tea, coffee or cocoa. Bon appetit!
