    How to bake cabbage with meat in the oven? A very simple, quick and affordable dish. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can take any meat: pork, beef, lamb, as well as chicken or turkey. Also choose a part of the carcass according to your taste. I have boneless pork shoulder. Tomato juice in this recipe can be replaced with crushed tomatoes in their own juice or tomato paste diluted with water.

    Remove the top damaged leaves from the cabbage and remove the stalk. Shred the cabbage. To make the dish more filling, you can add diced potatoes to the cabbage.

    Wash the pork and dry it. Cut into medium pieces.

    Place the cabbage in a baking dish (I have a mold diameter of 27 cm) and smooth it out. There is no need to grease the pan with anything - a lot of juice will be released from the meat and cabbage, which will prevent the ingredients from sticking to the pan.

    Place pork on cabbage. Sprinkle salt, pepper and dry garlic on top. You can also add your own spices to taste.

    Pour room temperature tomato juice over the cabbage and meat. Place bay leaves on top.

    Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180ºC for 1-1.5 hours. The exact baking time depends on the type and size of the meat pieces, the hardness of the cabbage itself and, of course, on the oven.

Cabbage with meat in the oven is an excellent, tasty dish for every day. I really liked that both meat and cabbage are cooked at the same time, saving time. For meat, I used chicken fillet. Shredded the cabbage and cut the meat into medium pieces. I put cabbage and meat in the mold. I asked for salt, added tomato paste diluted with water and laid out a bay leaf.
