Cabbage soup with sprat in tomato sauce

Fish option with canned fish - quick and tasty. I have never prepared a fish version of cabbage soup, although in Rus' they were also prepared with fish broth. There are many variations of this dish. The nice difference between cabbage soup and other first courses is the presence of white cabbage in it. And there should be a lot of it. But the remaining ingredients can be quite varied.

    Boil water in a saucepan. Add shredded cabbage. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Roasting. To prepare the frying we will need: a can of sprat in tomato sauce, carrots, garlic, vegetable oil.

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place carrots.

    Add the roast to the pan. Stir, bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. If desired, add dried or fresh dill to the cabbage soup and remove the pan from the heat.

I have never cooked cabbage soup with fish before. When I saw a recipe for cabbage soup with sprat in tomato sauce on the website, I really wanted to try it. I had all the ingredients except dill (I didn’t replace it with anything). I cooked the soup with 1.5 liters of water. The soup turned out very tasty! Quite thick, with a rich and bright taste. It turned out that cabbage goes well with fish. It seemed to me that such cabbage soup was a little reminiscent of cabbage soup with sauerkraut. The whole family liked the cabbage soup. I prepared cabbage soup with sprat in tomato sauce for the first time, although I had heard about this dish many times. It was interesting to try. The preparation did not take much time, and I was very pleased with the result: it turned out delicious! And why haven't I cooked this dish before?
