Cabbage casserole with cheese in the oven

STEP 1

How to make cabbage casserole with cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. If desired, you can take any spices to taste. Use refined vegetable oil.
STEP 2

Peel the cabbage from the top leaves, rinse, dry and chop into small strips.
STEP 3

Wash the carrots with a brush under running water, peel and chop on a coarse grater. If desired, you can cut into cubes or in another convenient way.
STEP 4

Simmer the cabbage and carrots in a frying pan with vegetable oil, stirring occasionally. Halfway through cooking, salt the cabbage and add ground black pepper (or any spices to taste). Simmer the cabbage over medium heat until done. Then cool until warm. To make this happen faster, remove it from the pan into another container.
STEP 5

Wash the eggs thoroughly under running water. In a small bowl, beat the eggs with a fork until smooth.

Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater. You can also use semi-hard or soft cheese.

When the cabbage has cooled a little, add the beaten eggs. Mix everything well so that the egg mixture is evenly distributed throughout the cabbage.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Lay out the prepared vegetable mixture and smooth it out.

Sprinkle the cabbage evenly with grated cheese on top.

Cook cabbage casserole with cheese in an oven preheated to 180C for about 20 minutes. The cheese should melt well, but not dry out. The cooking mode may be different. It all depends on the operating characteristics of the oven.
