STEP 1

How to make a quick cabbage snack? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. In addition to these spices, you can use your own to taste. This recipe can also be used to cook cauliflower or broccoli. You can use any vegetable oil suitable for frying.
STEP 2

Cut the cabbage leaves into medium pieces. Cut off the hard white part of the base of each leaf. If you want the cabbage leaves to be tender and soft, not crispy, then either put them in boiling water for 5 minutes, or keep them in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 3

Now prepare the batter. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise and a large egg. Add flour, salt and pepper. If the eggs are small, you can use 2 pieces.
STEP 4

Mix everything thoroughly, breaking up all lumps. The batter should be viscous enough not to run off the cabbage leaves like water. If the batter is too thick, thin it with 1-2 tbsp. l. water or milk. If too liquid, add a little more flour.
STEP 5

Dip cabbage leaves on all sides into the batter.
STEP 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the cabbage in the batter. Fry for 1 minute on each side until golden brown. While frying, you may need to cover the pan with a lid, as the oil will start to shoot out when the juice is released from the cabbage.
STEP 7

You can serve a delicious sauce with the appetizer. In a bowl, combine sour cream, pressed garlic and chopped herbs. Mix everything thoroughly. If you wish, you can add your own spices to the sauce to taste. You can prepare the sauce in advance so that it infuses properly. You can also make any other sauce to your liking.
STEP 8

Transfer the finished cabbage appetizer to a plate and serve with sauce. Bon appetit!
