Butter pies on kefir with cherry filling

Pour five hundred grams of sifted flour and ten grams of baking powder into a large bowl.

Place one teaspoon of vanilla sugar and one third of a teaspoon of salt into a bowl.

Add eight grams of dry instant yeast to the bowl.

Pour fifty grams of sugar into a bowl.

Place two egg yolks in a common bowl.

Pour two hundred and fifty milliliters of warm kefir into a bowl and knead the dough.

Place forty grams of butter into the bowl with the dough and continue kneading it for another two minutes.

Grease the dough in a bowl with vegetable oil so that a crust does not form and, covering it with a towel, put it in a warm place for seventy-five minutes.

Place a deep frying pan on the stove, then put twenty grams of butter and five hundred grams of pitted cherries into it.

Pour one hundred grams of sugar into the pan with the cherries and give it time to dissolve.
STEP 12

Add two to three tablespoons of cherry juice to a bowl with thirty grams of starch.
STEP 13

Mix the ingredients well and dissolve the starch in the cherry juice.
STEP 14

Mix the prepared starch mixture with cherry juice.
STEP 15

Pour the starch mixture into the frying pan with the sugar dissolved in the cherries.

Turning on the stove at low temperature, boil the cherries until they become jam, stirring constantly.

Place the prepared cherry jam in a bowl and cool.

Grease the work surface of the table with a small amount of vegetable oil, then place the dough on it and knead it well.

Cut the dough into approximately equal sized pieces.

Roll each piece of dough into balls.

Knead each bun into a flat cake and place a tablespoon of cherry jam on it.
