  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a pan-fried burrito? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can buy ready-made tortillas, or you can bake them yourself. Carefully look at the expiration date and make sure that the packaging is intact, otherwise the tortillas may dry out and it will be difficult to wrap them. Choose cheese that melts well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the chicken fillet into thinner pieces. The thinner they are, the faster the fillet will be ready. Boil the fillet for 15 minutes after boiling. Cool a little.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel and rinse the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into thin half rings. This way it will cook quickly and retain its shape. Cut the garlic across the cloves into thin slices. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems. If the tomatoes have tough skins (as winter tomatoes usually do), remove them. Cut them into small cubes to help them cook faster.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Heat a frying pan and carefully pour vegetable oil onto it. Fry the onion and garlic, stirring occasionally, over high heat for 3-4 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add tomatoes and 3 tablespoons bean sauce to the pan. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut the chicken into small cubes and place in a frying pan. Drain the remaining sauce from the beans; it will no longer be needed. Drain the corn too. Add beans and corn to the pan.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Wash and chop the greens. Salt and add spices to taste. Add chopped herbs and, after mixing well, remove from heat.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. So he will melt well and will not crumble with twisting the burrito.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Heat the tortilla a little in a frying pan to soften it. Place a quarter of the filling and cheese on it.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Roll the tortilla, tucking the edges. Brush the resulting burrito with vegetable oil on both sides.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Transfer the burrito to a dry skillet and heat over low-medium heat for about 5 minutes on both sides. If the filling has cooled completely, it will take longer.

I made a breakfast burrito, fried in a frying pan. I looked closely at this recipe for a long time and decided to make it anyway. Everyone in my family loves shawarma, both store-bought and homemade. So I thought that a burrito would suit everyone. I took smoked chicken. I ran out of onions, so I didn’t use them, but I put two cloves of garlic instead of one. I had small tomatoes, I took three. There were 275 grams of beans (in their own juice), 320 grams of corn. Each tortilla weighed approximately 66 grams. I fried the finished burritos in a grill press. This dish turned out to be unusual for everyone, but everyone appreciated it. Only my daughter didn’t like the beans in the filling, but that’s a matter of taste. All other family members were pleased with the breakfast. The burrito turned out to be very filling. All ingredients go well together. I really liked the sweetness of the corn in the filling. It turned out great! Thank you very much for the wonderful recipe! I will cook more.
