STEP 1
How to make bulgur with turkey and vegetables in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the vegetables and dry with paper towels. Use refined vegetable oil. For bell peppers, choose multi-colored red and yellow ones, so the dish will look brighter and more colorful.
STEP 2
Wash turkey meat and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the pulp into pieces slightly larger than a walnut.
STEP 3
Pour vegetable oil into the pan (I used olive oil, but you can use sunflower oil) and heat well. Add turkey and fry over high heat until golden brown.
STEP 4
Cut the peeled onions and carrots into small cubes. You can grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 5
Place the chopped onion in a preheated frying pan and fry it until translucent over medium heat. Add carrots and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
STEP 6
Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds, and cut in half. Cut half a red and half a yellow pepper into small cubes.
STEP 7
Fry it over medium heat with constant stirring until soft.
STEP 8
Rinse the champignons, place on paper towels and dry well so that the mushrooms do not gain moisture. Cut into small slices.
STEP 9
Also fry the mushrooms in a preheated frying pan for about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add all the fried vegetables and mushrooms to the frying pan with the meat.
STEP 10
Rinse the bulgur in cold water several times. Drain and place in pan with turkey and vegetables.
STEP 11
Fill everything with filtered hot water. The water should be hot to avoid a temperature drop for the meat and all ingredients will continue to cook evenly. Add salt and pepper to taste, stir. Bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.
STEP 12
The cooked bulgur and turkey should be soft. Serve the dish hot with herbs and vegetables.
