STEP 1
How to make buckwheat with minced meat in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. First of all, sort through the buckwheat to get rid of spoiled grains, then rinse it thoroughly.
STEP 2
Prepare vegetables for buckwheat. Peel the onion and carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 3
Fry the prepared vegetables together in a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. If desired, you can also use olive oil. Fry briefly until it starts to smell like fried onions.
STEP 4
As soon as this happens, add the minced meat to the vegetables. It is best to use homemade, ground yourself. You can use minced pork, ground beef, or a mixture of both. Fry the ingredients together until the minced meat loses its pink tint and the meat is no longer raw.
STEP 5
As soon as this happens, pour buckwheat into the pan and fry it for a couple of minutes. This is done so that in the future the buckwheat does not boil over, remains elastic and retains its structure. By frying buckwheat in a frying pan, it will eventually be crumbly and have a special aroma.
STEP 6
Next, pour the entire volume of water into the pan. It is better to use filtered water, as it will be absorbed into the buckwheat and become part of the dish. Now cook the buckwheat under a closed lid over low heat for 10 minutes. During this period of time, almost all the water will evaporate.
STEP 7
Open the lid, salt the buckwheat with meat and vegetables, and bring it to readiness over low heat (also under the lid). Stir the contents of the pan periodically. This will take another 10 minutes.
STEP 8
Buckwheat with minced meat is ready.
STEP 9
To make the dish look even more appetizing and colorful, garnish it with green onion rings. You can replace the onion with other greens by chopping them and also sprinkling them on top of the finished dish.
