  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make buckwheat porridge with meat? Prepare the ingredients. You can take any meat according to your taste and availability. With pork, the dish will be especially juicy, fatty and high in calories. Buckwheat goes well with beef; their proximity in one plate will provide significant benefits to the body. Chicken will be a lighter and low-calorie meat component. Thaw the meat, or if you use chilled meat, rinse thoroughly, remove veins and fibers.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the meat into small cubes. Rinse again, let the water drain from the meat. Peel the onions, cut them into half rings with a knife. To taste, you can add grated or finely chopped carrots to the onions. But you need to be careful with its quantity, otherwise it can give the meat excessive sweetness. Place pieces of meat in a dry frying pan, so that the excess liquid evaporates from the meat, and it becomes soft and tender.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

As soon as the moisture disappears from the pan, pour in vegetable oil. Stir the meat, cover the pan with a lid and fry it over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Then remove the lid and stir the meat. Add onions, stir and fry for another 15 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then place the washed buckwheat on top and carefully smooth it out. Fill with water so that it covers the contents of the pan by two fingers. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover the pan with a lid, let the liquid in it boil, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until the liquid has completely evaporated. Turn off the heat, stir the buckwheat with the meat. And the dish can be served immediately, with fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!

I prepared the porridge quickly. I deviated a little from the cooking technology and first fried the meat in a frying pan for literally 3-4 minutes, added onions, and fried covered for 30 minutes. Then I added washed buckwheat and water to the pan. I stewed buckwheat porridge with meat under the lid until all the liquid evaporated. When the porridge was ready, I opened the lid and dried the buckwheat over low heat. It turned out tasty and satisfying. The buckwheat was well cooked, it became soft, crumbly, grain by grain. The meat turned out a little elastic. At the end, before serving the dish, I added butter to the porridge; it flavors the buckwheat very well. Thank you very much for the recipe!

For dinner I made buckwheat porridge with meat. My daughter loves this delicious dish, she just asked me to add carrots. It was a new way for me to dry pieces of meat in a dry frying pan. The pan for this should be non-stick. At first the meat released juice, but it quickly evaporated. After that, I added vegetable oil and onions. I chopped the onion finely to make it more invisible). After 5 minutes, I added carrots, cut into cubes. We love her bigger. I fried for another 5 minutes, and then poured in a little water and simmered for 20 minutes under the lid. I poured the washed buckwheat into a frying pan and poured hot water over it. Cold meat can become tough and the cooking time will increase. I took water in a ratio of 1:2. The porridge was cooked on low heat for about 15 minutes, then it was left to sit under the lid for a while. All the liquid was absorbed and the buckwheat became crumbly, soaked in meat and vegetable juices. The meat turned out surprisingly soft! Very tasty, juicy and filling!
