Buckwheat pasta with nuts and spices

STEP 1

First of all, you need to boil 100 grams of pasta.
STEP 2

Our water is already boiling. Let's add high-quality salt and paste. Buckwheat flour makes a very tasty paste. It has many names. In northern Italy it is called pizzoccheri, in Japan - soba. It can contain from 5 to 50 percent wheat flour. You have to stir it all the time, otherwise it will stick together.
STEP 3

While the pasta is cooking, we need to heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and add spices: 1/4 cup chopped basil leaves, 1/4 cup chopped oregano leaves, 1 tablespoon chopped sage leaves and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds. Stir. Fresh spices make food more vibrant, tasty, and lively! Choose the spices that suit your taste best.
STEP 4

Add walnuts and ground black (red, cayenne) pepper to this. Mix.
STEP 5

Now add the prepared paste. Mix everything for another minute or two and you're done! This dish must be served hot, immediately after cooking.
