Buckwheat cutlets with minced meat in a frying pan

A very tasty, healthy and dietary dish! Buckwheat cutlets with minced meat in a frying pan are a satisfying and at the same time lighter dish compared to cutlets consisting of only meat. They turn out to be more budget-friendly, since buckwheat replaces some of the meat in them, but they are very appetizing.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make buckwheat cutlets with minced meat in a frying pan? Prepare the ingredients for the cutlets. Minced meat can be used as meat or as a less-calorie preparation made from poultry meat. You can make minced meat from fresh beef and pork yourself, or purchase ready-made ones if you are confident in the quality of the finished product.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the buckwheat thoroughly, changing the water several times until it becomes clear. Buckwheat needs to be boiled until tender, and if time permits, it can be steamed by pouring boiling water over the cereal and leaving it covered in a saucepan for an hour. The cereal will become soft and crumbly. Drain the water and cool the cereal.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the onions and finely chop with a knife. If you prepare minced meat yourself, then the onion can be passed through a meat grinder along with the meat.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place cooked steamed or boiled buckwheat, minced meat and onions in a bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Beat in a chicken egg, add salt and ground black pepper.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix the ingredients well until the mixture becomes uniform in consistency. Some housewives recommend beating the minced meat.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Make cutlets from the resulting mass, form the cutlets with your hands dipped in cold water. Bread the cutlets in wheat flour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Warm it up. Place the cutlets on the heated oil, fry them for 5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then turn them over and also fry on the other side.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Then pour a couple of tablespoons of water into the pan, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the cutlets for 10 minutes. The liquid should completely evaporate. The cutlets are ready, serve them with fresh vegetables and bread. If desired, you can prepare an additional side dish. Bon appetit!

Today I made an excellent dish that combines meat and a side dish! I already had boiled buckwheat, grated the onion on a coarse grater, added an egg and salt. I mixed all this with minced pork. I didn’t want to add any spices, not even ground black pepper. Maybe the onion made the minced meat a little runny, so I added a tablespoon of starch to it, mixed well, put it in the refrigerator for a short time. I fried buckwheat cutlets with minced meat in a frying pan in a heated frying pan with oil , over a little less than medium heat, about 5-7 minutes on each side, having first rolled them in flour. I didn’t stew the cutlets, I wanted to preserve the appetizing crispy crust. The result is juicy and very tasty cutlets that you can eat just like that! The kids liked it so much that they asked for more several times. Great recipe, I recommend it!

I beat the buckwheat with an immersion blender and stewed the cutlets with sour cream. It turned out very tasty.
