Brownie classic chocolate
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make classic chocolate brownies at home? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2
Take a bowl and break the chocolate into small pieces. Add butter, also cut into pieces. Choose high-quality butter, without adding vegetable fats.
STEP 3
Boil plain water in a saucepan and place a bowl of chocolate on top. This design is called a “water bath”, so the chocolate will be melted by steaming boiling water. An important condition is that the bottom of the bowl should not touch the water. And also, do not take glassware for these purposes. My bowl burst in the process, I had to pour everything into another.
STEP 4
Melt the chocolate and butter until smooth, stirring constantly. Remove the bowl with the chocolate mixture from the water bath and cool.
STEP 5
While the chocolate is cooling, beat the eggs with powdered sugar using a mixer in a separate bowl until light and fluffy. Before using, wash the eggs in running water and soda, as there may be harmful bacteria on their surface.
STEP 6
Pour the cooled chocolate into the eggs, mix everything with a spatula.
STEP 7
Sift flour and cocoa into a separate bowl through a sieve or using a special mug. Add a pinch of salt. Salt in desserts enhances the chocolate flavor, so be sure to add it.
STEP 8
Pour the dry mixture into the egg-chocolate mixture. Using a spatula, stir everything until smooth. You may need a little less or a little more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. The dough should be neither liquid nor very thick, much like muffins.
STEP 9
Take a baking dish and line it with baking paper. To make the paper fit better, crumple it first. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
STEP 10
Bake the brownies in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes. In the case of brownies, readiness cannot be determined with a toothpick; I advise you to focus on 25 minutes of baking, and on the operating features of your oven. If you leave the brownie in the oven, it will turn out dry. Chocolate brownie with cocoa can be served either warm or completely cooled. When serving, add a scoop of ice cream to the warm brownie. Bon appetit!
