    1. Cut the tomatoes into slices.

    2. Mash the cheese with a fork, if it’s cottage cheese, add salt, squeeze the garlic through a garlic press, add chopped herbs and mix.

    3. Stir sugar and salt in water (boiling water), add vegetable oil. Add flour. Knead into a soft dough.4. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.5. Roll out half of the dough into a large thin sheet.6. Place tomato slices on the dough no closer than 3 cm from each other.

    7. Place the filling on the tomato.8. Roll out the second layer of dough, cover it with the first one with the filling.9. Using a glass of a suitable diameter, cut out the pies along the contours of each tomato circle, and do the same with all the pies.

    10. Fry the pies in a large amount of hot vegetable oil on both sides. Place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
