How to make banana waffles in a waffle iron? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this. Take a very ripe banana. This is the kind that will squish well in puree and give the waffles a pleasant sweet taste and aroma. I do not recommend replacing butter with margarine. Waffles made with oil are crispier and more crumbly.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, take a deep, spacious bowl. Combine eggs and sugar in a bowl. Beat them a little with a mixer.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Melt the butter in the microwave, cool so that it is not hot. Peel the banana, break into pieces and mash into a puree using a fork. Add melted butter and mashed banana to the eggs in a bowl. Stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Gradually pour the sifted flour and soda into the bowl and knead the banana dough.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

When adding flour, focus not on its quantity, but on the consistency of the finished dough. The finished dough is thick.

  6. STEP 6

My waffle iron is old and ugly, but very experienced. Waffles cook very quickly in it. Preheat waffle iron until hot. Before the first waffle, brush it with vegetable oil. Place a tablespoon of dough and cover with a lid. Cook the waffle for a minute until golden brown.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The finished waffles are soft at first and can be rolled into tubes if desired. When they sit and cool down they will become hard and crispy. Delicious and aromatic banana waffles are ready! Top them with berry topping and serve with tea. Enjoy your meal!

I wanted to bake waffles for a family tea party this weekend. I found a recipe for banana waffles in a waffle iron; I just had one banana left. The dough is kneaded very simply and quickly, I managed it while the waffle iron was warming up. The banana was ripe and easily mashed with a fork. I needed a spoonful more flour. The rest is all according to the recipe. The dough turned out thick, like pancakes. The waffle iron was greased with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. Spread the dough one tablespoon at a time and fry for about two minutes. From this amount of dough I made a whole mountain of waffles! The waffles are golden brown, crispy, sweet and fluffy! Banana is felt in both aroma and taste. I put the rest in a bag, where they became soft, which is what I was counting on. Children especially liked these waffles. Thanks for the recipe!
