    Take the mug in which you plan to cook the cupcake. Or a bowl if you have small cups like I do. Place the butter in the selected container and melt in the microwave in bursts of 5 seconds at medium power (~500W). Add sugar to butter and beat in egg.

    Using a whisk (or fork if you're not in the kitchen), stir the ingredients until smooth. Pour in the milk. Peel the banana and mash it into a puree with a fork. Even if you have small pieces left, it’s okay - it will give the cupcake texture. Place the mashed banana into the dough.

    Stir. Add baking powder to the flour and stir. Add flour to the dough one spoon at a time, stirring after each spoonful. Do not add all the flour if the dough becomes thick. Or, conversely, add a little more if it seems runny. The dough should become like medium fat sour cream.

    Get microwave-safe cups. Spread the dough over them. Do not pour to the brim, even 2/3 of the volume is enough - the cake may run away during baking. If you cook immediately in a mug, then choose a large volume, 350-400 ml.

    Cook the cake in the microwave at 800W for 2-4 minutes or more (depend on your microwave). Check readiness with a toothpick - it will come out dry from the middle.

Excellent, tasty and quick banana muffin in the microwave! I listened to the author’s advice and reduced the amount of sugar to 1 tsp. Divided the dough into 2 mugs with a volume of 250 ml. The cake rose well during baking, baked for 3 minutes at full power. After baking, sprinkle with grated chocolate. From a small amount of ingredients, a complete breakfast is ready!

This banana muffin is prepared super quickly in the microwave. It's easy and fast, in just 10 minutes. For me, this is the perfect breakfast to treat yourself to when you want something sweet. Just what you need for your morning coffee. I prefer to make it without sugar, but pour chocolate on top.
