Baked rabbit with vegetables in the oven

Let's prepare the products.
STEP 2

It is advisable to soak rabbit meat a little in water to improve its taste. Then we cut it into portions.
STEP 3

Place the meat in a bowl, season with salt, pepper, spices, mix and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
STEP 4

Meanwhile, peeled vegetables need to be chopped. Potatoes into large slices, and carrots cut into cubes. Turn on the oven to preheat at 180 degrees.
STEP 5

Take a deep heat-resistant form, put the vegetables mixed, add a little salt.
STEP 6

Place pieces of marinated rabbit on top. Lightly press the meat into the vegetables.
STEP 7

For sour cream dressing, in a bowl, mix sour cream, chopped garlic, some spices and a glass of water. Stir well.
STEP 8

Pour sour cream over the top of the rabbit and vegetables.
STEP 9

Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven. The dish will cook under the foil for about 40 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 50-60 minutes. The rabbit will be browned and have an appetizing crust. Check for doneness as ovens bake differently. This time was enough for me to bake the rabbit.

And here is the finished rabbit. The aroma is simply amazing!

Serve a piece of rabbit, potatoes and carrots and enjoy the dish! You can serve this dish with a glass of red wine. Bon appetit!
