As promised, I’m posting a photo review about these wonderful bagels with cherries. I paid attention to this recipe thanks to good reviews. I have made these bagels more than once, and I will definitely make them again! The dough is made quickly. Although yeast is used, there is no need to leave the dough to proof. I used fresh yeast. Instead of margarine, I always use butter. I needed a lot more flour for the dough. Especially when I did it the second time. It was very hot in the apartment, and the butter melted quickly when I rubbed it with flour. I came to the conclusion that I needed to do everything faster and take the oil as cold as possible. I took frozen cherries, 4 cherries for each bagel. It’s convenient to take in quantity, there is nothing left over. The dough turns out to be very pleasant to work with, it rolls out well, the bagels are easy to make, and they turn out beautiful and neat. The author showed well in the photo how best to make them. The bagels turn out simply excellent, soft, the dough is thin and tasty. Cherry filling, in my opinion, is always a good option. What would I change? I would probably add more sugar to the dough or put more sugar in the filling. For sweetness, I generously sprinkled the bagels with powdered sugar. Many thanks to the author for this recipe. I will make these bagels more than once, and I will definitely try to make the dough with dry yeast, using the advice of Maria and Admin Rina. The cherry season is just beginning.
