Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Let's prepare the ingredients for Arabic chicken according to the list. The chicken needs to be divided into small portions, washed and dried. If the dish is prepared for a small number of people, then you can use only chicken fillet or another part of the chicken.
STEP 2
We peel the garlic cloves from their membranes and finely chop them with a knife or pass them through a press.
STEP 3
Pour some water, vegetable oil, lemon juice into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and ground red pepper, add cooked garlic. Mix. Place the cooked chicken in the marinade and leave for an hour.
STEP 4
Peel the onions and finely chop them with a knife. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Heat it up, put the onion on it and saute it until lightly browned.
STEP 5
Grate hard cheese.
STEP 6
Crack a chicken egg into a bowl and beat it with a pinch of salt and ground pepper until smooth.
STEP 7
Add fried onions, melted and cooled butter and grated hard cheese to a bowl with a chicken egg, mix.
STEP 8
Bread the marinated chicken in flour, then dip it in a bowl with the egg mixture. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish. Fill the contents of the mold with the remaining egg mixture on top.
STEP 9
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the pan with the chicken with foil and put it in the oven. Bake for about 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and put the chicken in the oven for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese crust browns.
STEP 10
Serve the dish hot. It is better to cook this dish one at a time, because after reheating it becomes less tasty and crispy on the outside. Bon appetit!
