In another bowl, beat the egg with a whisk until smooth.

Add kefir to the egg and stir.
STEP 5

Add the spiced flour mixture and stir again. The batter will be very viscous. That's how it should be.

While stirring, pour in the milk little by little. Stir the batter with a whisk until smooth.

The dough should be thick. Leave the batter for 2-3 minutes so that it thickens a little more when the gluten is released from the flour. Wash the apples thoroughly. Using a special knife, cut out the core with the seeds. Cut the fruit into rings about 1 cm thick. What types of apples are suitable for this dish? Dip the apple rings into the batter on all sides.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or saucepan over medium heat. Transfer apples to paper towels to remove excess grease.
