Apple juice with pulp
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make apple juice with pulp for the winter? Sterilize the jars in advance in any convenient and familiar way: over steam, in the oven, or by pouring boiling water over them.
STEP 2
First, decide on the variety of apples from which you will make juice. I used the sweet variety, Gala. When making juice from these apples, you don’t even need to add sugar, but this is a matter of taste. If you plan to make juice from sour apples, you will need sugar. You need to add it, focusing on the sweetness of the apples and your taste preferences. So, take the apples and wash them thoroughly. Do not use spoiled or broken ones, take only good whole fruits.
STEP 3
Now cut the apples into pieces (I cut each apple into 8 slices). Using a knife, remove the core from the apples.
STEP 4
Pass the apple slices through a juicer. Never throw away the pulp from them; it will still be useful for making juice. Separate the small pulp and pieces of apples that were not crushed in the juicer, pass them through a meat grinder.
STEP 5
Take a pan (not an aluminum one). Place the apple pulp in it, pour in water and put the pan on the fire. Stir the apple mass during cooking (otherwise there is a possibility of the apple mass burning, which will spoil all the juice), bringing it to a boil.
STEP 6
Next, grind this mass using a blender to make a smoothie or rub through a sieve, thus obtaining a puree.
STEP 7
Pour the resulting puree and previously squeezed juice into a saucepan and place on medium or slightly below medium heat. Heat the juice, but do not bring it to a boil. If foam forms, be sure to remove it with a special spoon. Once all the foam has been skimmed off, the juice is ready to bottle. Taste it, if you don't have enough sugar, add it to your taste.
STEP 8
Pour the freshly prepared apple juice into already sterilized jars and immediately close each jar tightly with a freshly boiled lid. Cool the jars by turning them upside down and placing them in a warm place. Cover them with a blanket or blanket. Leave them like this until they cool completely.
STEP 9
Apple juice is ready! The result was 1.1 liters. Shake the jar of juice before drinking.
