  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a fluffy omelette in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use milk and eggs at room temperature, because salt does not dissolve well in a cold mixture. Instead of two types of oils, you can use only butter to grease the pan and omelet.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Break eggs at room temperature into a bowl and add salt.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour in milk at room temperature.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Lightly stir the mixture with a whisk until smooth. There is no need to beat the mixture vigorously, especially do not use a mixer, otherwise the omelette will not rise. In general, you should try to stir so that as few large bubbles form on the surface as possible. It is enough for the white and yolk to combine with the milk.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

The bottom and walls are not very large, but grease a high enough baking dish with vegetable oil. Or you can replace it with cream. Please note that the thickness of the finished omelette directly depends on the size of your mold. The smaller the shape and the higher the sides, the more magnificent the omelette will be and vice versa. Therefore, see which form is best suited from those in your arsenal.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the egg-milk mixture into the mold. The pan should not be filled to the very brim so that the omelette has room to grow while baking. And it rises quite strongly - by about a third.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Preheat the oven. Bake the omelette for about 30-40 minutes at 170-180°C. Do not open the oven while baking, otherwise the omelette will fall off. The finished omelette should have a golden crust on the surface.(!)* (see below) It is better to keep the finished omelette in the cooling oven for another 5 minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Remove the finished omelette from the oven and brush the top with butter. To avoid damaging the top layer of the omelette, it is better to melt the butter and apply with a soft silicone brush. When exposed to cold air, a properly prepared omelette will collapse slightly. This is fine. But if it has become very thin, like a pancake, then the technology was broken at some stage. Cut the finished omelette into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!

My daughter asked me to make an omelette for an afternoon snack, but I was busy, there was no time to stand at the stove and monitor the process) I was helped by an omelette in the oven with milk, fluffy like in kindergarten. The recipe is extremely simple, even a novice housewife can handle it. I’ll definitely teach it to my daughter when she grows up) For four eggs, 200 ml. milk is just the perfect proportions. I also don’t beat the omelette mixture too much; if you do everything correctly, the omelette will turn out great without it) I took a mold with a diameter of 15 cm. I baked it for exactly 30 minutes and left it with the door ajar for 5 minutes so that there was no sudden temperature change. The omelette really sank a little, as it should be) The crust turned out to be quite dense, so I simply greased it with butter using a knife. Such a gorgeous crust can only be made in the oven! The omelette is very tender, porous, with a delicious creamy crust. Just perfect!

I made an omelette in the oven with milk as fluffy as in kindergarten using this recipe. I was preparing one serving, so I took the cocotte maker for the omelette. I scrambled the eggs and salt with a fork. Pour in the milk and stir. I greased the cocotte maker with oil and poured the egg-milk mixture into it. I baked the omelette in the oven for 25 minutes. It rose well in the oven, but later settled. The breakfast was very tasty. Before serving, sprinkle with more freshly ground black pepper. The omelette is tender, light, airy and delicious. Great recipe! Tasty, fast, healthy, simple and satisfying. We liked this omelette. I will also cook an omelet in the oven and recommend it to everyone. It's much healthier than cooking in a frying pan. Many thanks to the author!

The perfect omelet! It really is like being in kindergarten. I made it from 5 eggs and 250 ml of milk in a mold with a diameter of 18 cm. The height turned out to be 2.5 cm somewhere. Thanks for the recipe!
