Salad with fried mushrooms
To prepare this dish, you can use any edible mushrooms that are available. Some, however, before frying, it is advisable to boil them in salted water or soak them for several hours - especially if we are talking about certain types of mushrooms collected in the forest.
Almost all recipes for salad with fried mushrooms are festive dishes, beautifully presented and decorated. And all because we quite rarely agree to perform “extra” actions in everyday life. But we are ready to tinker an extra couple of hours in the kitchen in order to surprise and delight our guests. Although it doesn’t take much time to prepare such a salad, the mushrooms fry quickly. However, after this, in most cases, they also need to be cooled.
In general, fried mushrooms can replace any meat in any salad (if it didn’t have them in the first place). Or even fish (for example, in Mimosa). Thus, turning it into a lean version, suitable for various dietary restrictions.
To make the mushroom salad more tasty, it is recommended to fry the mushrooms with onions. And add salt and pepper to taste during frying. Then it is better to get rid of excess oil, otherwise the dish will come out too greasy. Especially if you plan to add mayonnaise to it. Boiled rice does a good job of absorbing excess moisture and fats (if you don’t mind having them in your food).
Fried mushrooms in a salad can be combined with absolutely any vegetables, legumes, cereals, meat, chicken, and herbs. They are appropriate in most layered salads (it's best to use them on the inner or bottom layers). The theme will also include preparing warm salads from fried mushrooms - in this case there will be no need to wait until the frying cools down.
