Dishes with curd cheeses
But curd cheese is made with the addition of sugar, spices, and so on. But at the same time, curd cheese also combines a pleasant delicacy. Its manufacturers are coming up with more and more new recipes with curd cheese, combining it with white and dark chocolate, cookies, fruit jams, nuts, and dried fruits. All this makes curd cheese an excellent substitute for unhealthy sweets for children. And what delicious names: Vanilla with creme brulee filling, Vanilla in white glaze, cheese curd with hazelnuts, cheese curd with apple jam, caramel curd cheese. The recipes for making this dessert at home are quite simple. You will need a kilo of good non-acidic cottage cheese, 350 g of thick sour cream, 300 g of dried fruits, butter, cocoa and granulated sugar. While the dried fruits are steaming in a steam bath, you can prepare the glaze: mix half a glass of sugar, 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 200 g of sour cream, put on low heat, bring to a boil and, stirring, cook for 5 minutes. Then add half a stick of butter, boil and let the glaze cool. Now you need to knead the cottage cheese until smooth and soften it with the remaining sour cream, add sugar, raisins, knead the mass and form oval, round, cylindrical cheesecakes. Then place it on a tray, pour the resulting glaze over it and put it in the refrigerator. Now the dessert is ready! Although, creative housewives come up with new dishes from curd cheeses: pie with berries and curd cheeses or “Cheese in Chocolate” cake, custard pies or curd cheese cookies. We combine business with pleasure - cook at home!
