Stella Johnson

As a child, I stood in delight at my mother's stove, watching how she turned simple products into magical dishes. Family dinners became real rituals for me, where getting together was the most important thing. Traveling around the world, I discovered a variety of cuisines, inspired by the spices of India, the freshness of the Mediterranean and the bounty of Asian dishes. My goal is to show that anyone can cook, and even the simplest recipes can be real art. I want cooking to bring joy and bring people together around the table.

I graduated from the faculty of Culinary Arts at Tokyo Seishin Culinary Academy.
