I have long wanted to make minced meat nests. I really like the way this dish looks. I used minced pork for cooking. I added salt, ground red pepper, and onions fried in vegetable oil (this makes the meatballs more tender). After boiling the spaghetti, I put them in a frying pan, forming four nests. I placed four meatballs in them and put the fifth one in the middle. I poured a sauce of fried onions and water over everything, almost completely covering the spaghetti and meatballs (I used water instead of meat broth, since the recipe allowed for this). I did not add tomato paste to the gravy. I cooked it covered for 20 minutes. There is quite a lot of liquid left. Having opened the lid, I kept the frying pan on the fire for another 10 minutes. The result was a juicy, tasty and satisfying dish. The presentation is very elegant and appetizing. Thank you very much for the recipe!
