    Gut the fish, remove the gills, fins and tail. You can cut off the head or leave it, it's at your discretion. I prefer to serve baked fish with the head on, so I left it. Peel the onion and cut into half rings, the lemon into slices.

    Make transverse cuts on the carcass, salt and pepper the fish, sprinkle with lemon juice and oil. Place onion and lemon half rings into the belly.

I planned to bake fish for dinner. There was the freshest zander available, literally just swimming in the river. Look into his eyes and everything will become clear)) To make dinner delicious, I started looking for a recipe on my favorite website and found a great option. I decided to bake the whole pike perch in the oven with onions and lemon. I like this combination. The first thing I do is cut off the top sharp fin of the pike perch, I’ve already pricked my fingers with it many times, so now I’m removing this mohawk. From the spices I also took thyme, thyme and pepper. Only lemon pepper, I think it goes well with fish. Well, I didn’t regret the fresh lemon, I pushed it into the abdomen, into the gills and sprinkled it on top. And the onions made an excellent “pillow”. I baked it as in the recipe, wrapped in parchment, then without it for about 10 minutes. It turned out to be an excellent, most tender fish. Very tasty! The aroma of lemon is amazing, it doesn’t taste sour) I recommend everyone to cook this diet fish!
