Using this recipe, I decided to save small beets that are not in the cellar. I collected all the smallest beets. It was not 5 cm, of course, but a little more than 8-10 cm. I washed it, but did not soak it in water. I just cooked it until fully cooked for 50 minutes. I placed it tightly in a jar, after cleaning it first. Separately, I made the marinade as described in the recipe and boiled it. I poured the hot marinade into a jar of beets. Then I sterilized it in boiling water, as described in the recipe, and rolled it up. Very easy to prepare recipe. And the preparation is just a lifesaver. And small beets will not spoil, and a delicious salad can be prepared in winter from pickled beets. Many thanks to the author for the idea!
