Wet cake without eggs

STEP 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients to prepare the Wet Cake.
STEP 2

Prepare a baking pan in advance (ideally a springform pan with the bottom lined with parchment paper) and turn on the oven. In a bowl, combine the condensed milk and melted butter.
STEP 3

Stir, pour in WARM (!) kefir.
STEP 4

Stir, add sifted flour combined with baking soda.
STEP 5

Mix quickly until you obtain a homogeneous dough, as thick as sour cream.
STEP 6

Pour into a baking dish. Bake for about 45-50 minutes at 180 degrees. The dough should rise, brown and slightly spring back in the center when pressed.
STEP 7

The finished cake needs to be removed and cooled. It is advisable to leave it under a towel until the next day to “mature.” Cut the cake into 2, or preferably 3 parts.
STEP 8

Combine sugar and water for soaking in a saucepan and bring to a boil. First soak one cake layer generously with the cooled syrup. Pay special attention to the edges, they are the densest.
STEP 9

Grease the soaked cake with sour cream (to prepare it, combine sugar and sour cream for cream, beat), then soak the next cake, place on top and cover with cream as well.
STEP 10

Place the cake in the refrigerator overnight.
STEP 11

Decorate the finished cake to your taste.
