This culinary recipe is ideal for those on a diet. It cooks very quickly and contains few calories. This vegetable pickle is also notable for the fact that instead of pearl barley, it uses buckwheat or rice. For example, in my family, my husband simply hates pearl barley, he says that after the army he cannot look at it. So this recipe came in very handy for us.
