STEP 1

STEP 2
Meanwhile, place a piece of butter in a frying pan. Turn on the heat and let the butter melt. Place vermicelli on melted butter. Any small type of “spider web” vermicelli will do. Fry over medium heat, stirring constantly with a spatula, until golden brown, the vermicelli should turn light brown. STEP 3
Add the cooked rice to the frying pan with the noodles. Stir and fry them together for a few more minutes until the rice becomes translucent.
STEP 4
Then add salt to taste and pour in water. There should be enough water so that it is at the same level as the contents, no more, unlike the process of preparing pilaf. The ratio of rice and water should be approximately 1:1.5. Reduce heat to low.
