STEP 1
How to make Czech tomatoes for the winter? Prepare the products according to the list. For this preparation, choose tomatoes that are ripe, juicy, but strong. Bright red color. Take bell peppers that are also ripe and juicy, with rich colors, so that the preparation is not only tasty, but also beautiful. It is best to take liter or 0.5 liter jars. Let them sterilize while you prepare the vegetables.
STEP 2
Wash the vegetables, remove the stems, and also the seeds from the peppers. Cut the tomatoes into slices, pepper into strips. Peel the onion and garlic, cut the onion into half rings, and leave the garlic cloves whole.
STEP 3
Prepare the marinade: add salt and sugar to water and bring to a boil on the stove. Add vinegar and then keep on the stove for a couple more minutes.
STEP 4
Place in sterilized jars in layers: first garlic, peppercorns, then tomatoes almost to the top of the jar, then bell peppers and onions.
STEP 5
Pour hot marinade into jars of vegetables.
STEP 6
Pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into each jar.
STEP 7
Place the jars of vegetables to sterilize for 10-15 minutes, depending on the volume of the jar. Half-liter jars will need 10 minutes; sterilize liter jars for 15 minutes.
STEP 8
After this time, carefully remove the jars from the boiling water using special tongs and screw on the lids.
STEP 9
Turn the jars over, wrap them in a blanket and leave them to cool upside down. Good luck with your preparations!
