  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to brew tea with turmeric? Prepare the necessary ingredients. The curcumin found in turmeric is poorly absorbed by the body, so it must be exposed to short heat for maximum benefits.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the ginger root and grate it using a medium grater. Instead of a grater, you can chop it very finely with a knife.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In order for spices to retain all their beneficial properties, they must be brewed correctly. Pour the required amount of turmeric into a teapot or French press and add chopped ginger.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Separately, bring the required amount of water to a boil and pour boiling water over the spices. Cover with a lid and let the tea steep for 4-5 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After the specified time, the tea will infuse and be ready for drinking. Pour tea into mugs after straining.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add a little honey to taste and mix well. For better absorption of curcumin, you can add a little ground black pepper or one teaspoon of coconut oil to the finished drink. For variety, you can add lemon, mint or other spices to this tea.

This ginger tea is unique in its composition and is a very effective antiviral agent, which is important in the autumn-winter period. The recommended dose of this tea for an adult is one cup a day. Treat yourself to aromatic tea and don’t get sick!!!

I haven’t tried this tea before, I was interested to know what it tastes like. In general, on our website you can find many unusual and interesting recipes) I didn’t have ginger root, but I had fresh powder, which I bought for gingerbread cookies for the New Year. The recipe states it in teaspoons, so I decided to brew the powder. I made half a batch to try. I brewed ginger and turmeric, covered it with a saucer and left for ten minutes. During this time, the powder settled to the bottom, and the drink became richly yellow. I poured it carefully into a cup so as not to disturb the sediment. First I tried it without honey. The taste is very spicy and pungent) With honey the taste becomes softer and sweeter. You should drink this tea when you come in from the cold and urgently need to warm up, especially since the tea brews quickly. I wouldn’t offer this drink to children, of course, but my husband enjoyed tasting the tea.
