Stewed cabbage with chicken and carrots in a pan

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare delicious stewed cabbage with chicken, prepare all the ingredients according to the list. Wash the vegetables, peel the onions and carrots. Chicken meat can be taken from any part of the chicken, as well as wings and thighs on the bone. But in this recipe we use chicken fillet. For dressing, take a little tomato paste, for spices - spices for chicken and for frying chicken - vegetable oil.
STEP 2
Cut the chicken fillet into large cubes.
STEP 3
Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the pan, heat it and place the chopped fillet in the pan.
STEP 4
Fry the fillet for 5 minutes over high heat, then add spices and continue frying for another 5 minutes.
STEP 5
While the chicken is frying, chop the onion into cubes and grate the carrots.
STEP 6
Pour the onions and carrots into the pan with the fillet, stir and cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes.
STEP 7
Next, add salt to the chicken, onions and carrots, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
STEP 8
Meanwhile, finely chop the cabbage.
STEP 9
Add tomato paste to the pan and stir.
STEP 10
Following the tomato paste, place the shredded cabbage into the pan.
STEP 11
Mix the cabbage with the remaining ingredients in the pan.
STEP 12
Pour water into the pan with the cabbage and chicken, mix everything well again, let it boil over high heat, then reduce the heat.
STEP 13
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the cabbage and chicken for 30 minutes over low heat.
STEP 14
Serve stewed cabbage with hot chicken, either as a separate dish or with a side dish - rice, buckwheat, potatoes.
