STEP 1

How to stew beef heart with vegetables in a frying pan? Prepare everything needed for the recipe according to the list. If you have a frozen heart, remove it from the freezer in advance and leave it to defrost at room temperature.

Cut the heart into small cubes, about 1cm. by 1 cm.

Peel the onion, carrots and garlic. Cut the bell pepper into two parts and remove the core and seeds. Rinse all vegetables and herbs in clean cold water and dry with paper towels.

Cut the carrots into cubes or circles. You can grate it on a coarse grater, do it as you prefer. Cut the onion in half, then cut each half into two more pieces, and then cut a quarter into rings. Chop each clove of garlic into 4-6 parts, and the bell pepper into small cubes.

Heat a small amount of refined vegetable oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom. Fry onions, carrots, peppers and garlic. Cook, stirring, until the onion becomes transparent.

At this time, cut the tomatoes into cubes. If desired, you can first remove the skin from the tomatoes. To make the peels easy to remove from the tomatoes, pour boiling water over them and leave for a minute. Drain the hot water and remove the peel (after boiling water this will be done without much difficulty). I don't usually do this.

Add the beef heart to the pan with the vegetables.

Add salt to taste, add your favorite dry spices, mix everything well and cover with a lid.

Reduce the flame of the stove and simmer the heart until completely cooked. Periodically open the lid and check if the dish is burning. If necessary, add just a little boiling water. Usually there is enough juice from tomatoes to stew the vegetables and heart well. Finely chop the greens and sprinkle them over the finished dish.
