Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to steam chicken in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. You can take not only the breast of the chicken, but also any other part: thigh, drumstick, wing. To make the dish as healthy as possible, cook them without the skin. Salt can also be any kind. Now in stores there are types of salt that, in addition to the salt itself, also contain a certain amount of seasonings: for example, Adyghe salt or black salt. Which one to choose is up to you.
STEP 2

Wash the chicken breast well, remove bones and skin if necessary.
STEP 3

To prepare this dish you will need a slow cooker. Take a multicooker bowl and pour clean filtered water into the bottom. Pour the amount of water depending on your multicooker model - read about this in the instructions. In mine, 200 ml is enough to steam chicken. If you wish, you can add bay leaf, allspice and any other seasonings to the water to taste - then the chicken will be more aromatic.
STEP 4

Place the steamer on top.
STEP 5

Place chicken on it. I recommend not salting the chicken before cooking, but salting it at the very end, when the dish is already cooked. Salt removes liquid, but we need the chicken to remain juicy. Cook the chicken in a slow cooker in the “Steam” mode for 25 minutes. After the signal, open the lid and remove the chicken. Salt it to taste and serve.
STEP 6

This chicken is delicious both hot and cold. It can be eaten as a main dish with some side dish and vegetables, or sliced and put, for example, on a sandwich. Bon appetit!
