STEP 1
How to cook a steak on the grill? Prepare all the necessary products. It can be a flat piece of pork, beef or veal. Any vegetable oil: from sunflower to olive.
STEP 2
Wash the meat and dry it. Contrary to popular belief, there is no need to pound steak before cooking. The process of beating meat disrupts its integrity of the fiber structure and, when cooked, the meat can become tough. Pour vegetable oil over the oil and coat it well on all sides. The oil will create a protective film and during marinating all the juices will remain inside.
STEP 3
Salt the steak. In general, it is recommended to salt all meat products at the very end of cooking, because... salt removes water from all foods, and without liquid the steak will turn out dry. But we have already created a protective film on the meat from vegetable oil, so we can add salt now.
STEP 4
Add chopped garlic. You can chop it with a knife, grate it, or put it through a press. If you don't have fresh garlic, you can easily replace it with garlic powder.
STEP 5
Leave the meat to marinate. The optimal marinating time is from 30 minutes to 2 hours. It is necessary to marinate at room temperature. Or, if you are marinating in the refrigerator for a long time, remove the steak from there in advance to warm it up. This will allow the meat to cook more evenly.
STEP 6
Meanwhile, heat the coals if you have them ready. Or light the wood and wait until it burns and turns into coals.
STEP 7
Place the grill on the grill and place the steak on it. Fry the meat, turning it frequently (about every 3 minutes) to prevent the meat from burning. Initially, fry over very hot coals so that a crust forms on the steak and the juice does not flow out of it. For the same purpose, under no circumstances should you pierce a meat steak when frying: this way all the juice will flow out of it and the meat will be dry.
STEP 8
Serve the steak immediately with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
