  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make stacks with cheese, minced meat and potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be used from any type of meat or a mixed version. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool the eggs in cold water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onion and chop finely. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes over low heat until transparent. During this time, the onion will become softer. Remove the fried onion from the heat.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the boiled eggs, mash with a fork and add mayonnaise. Stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Salt the minced meat and add spices. Mix well and beat a little on the bottom of the bowl. Thanks to this, the minced meat will become denser and will not fall apart during baking.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

For baking, take any heat-resistant form. Lubricate it with vegetable oil. Form small meat cakes from the minced meat and place them in the mold. Make an indentation in the center of each cake.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add some fried onions and then the egg filling. Press firmly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Grate the peeled potatoes on a coarse grater and distribute over each meat cake.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Sprinkle the stacks generously with grated cheese on top. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 30-40 minutes. Be guided by your oven.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

During baking, the meat cakes will shrink slightly in size. The finished stacks will be browned. Remove the pan from the oven, place the stacks on a plate and serve hot. Bon appetit!

An amazing recipe: simple, quick, easy, affordable, suitable for holidays and everyday life. I also like it because you can “modernize” it to your liking. For example, I added beef liver to the minced meat, and the mixture turned out even more tender, very good for baby food. And I replaced the mayonnaise with low-fat sour cream, which reduced the calorie content of the dish. Everyone really liked it, thank you for the recipe!

The minced meat stacks turned out not only tasty, but also very beautiful! I made them for dinner for 2 servings. I replaced the mayonnaise with sour cream, added it to a boiled egg mashed with a fork, and a soft, thick filling emerged. I took a large potato, grated it on a coarse grater, but did not put it all out, because I wanted the layer of potatoes not to be very thick. I chopped the onion and fried it in vegetable oil. I laid out the prepared products in layers on minced cakes, first the onions, then the egg mixture and potatoes. Top with grated cheese. It looked like real haystacks! I baked minced meat stacks in the oven with cheese and potatoes for 25 minutes. It turned out great! Thank you very much for the interesting recipe!
