  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Thaw the squids, cleaned of entrails and skin.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Remove any remaining transparent bones, if any. And cut the carcasses into rings about a centimeter wide.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Do not add salt. Place squid rings into boiling water. Cook after boiling for exactly one minute. By the way, it’s convenient to cook the squid directly in a metal colander. This will make it convenient to immediately remove the squid so as not to overcook them, and it will be much more convenient to drain the excess water.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Prepare the marinade. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce. Cut several rings of hot chili pepper there, after washing it and removing the seeds.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. It is also called fish sauce, oyster sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Mix the marinade.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add marinade to squid. And, after mixing thoroughly, leave them to marinate for a maximum of fifteen minutes. After which they will be ready to serve. I used a vacuum sealer to help the squid soak in the marinade faster. It only took me seven minutes to do this.

The appetizer is good, thank you. I recommend a delicious appetizer option - Korean marinated squid with carrots.
