Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a stumble? To begin, prepare all the ingredients according to the list.
STEP 2
Sort out the blackcurrants, rinse thoroughly and dry on a laid out towel.
STEP 3
Boil sugar syrup. To do this, add sugar to the water, stir and bring to a boil on the stove.
STEP 4
While the syrup is boiling, mash the blackcurrants with a wooden masher, placing them in a suitable flat bowl. Instead of a masher, you can use a blender or meat grinder.
STEP 5
Strain the resulting berry mass through cheesecloth or other suitable fabric. If you have a good juicer, you can use it initially. You can either throw away the berry pulp or use it for something else; we no longer need it in this recipe.
STEP 6
After boiling, the sugar syrup becomes deliciously golden and transparent :)
STEP 7
Pour currant juice into the syrup and bring everything to a boil once more.
STEP 8
And now the fun begins :) Turn off the heat and add vodka to the syrup. Stir and place on low heat again.
STEP 9
When the mixture thickens a little, remove the pan from the heat and cool its contents. Pour the syrup and vodka into bottles, seal them tightly and put them in a cool, dark place. After standing, the spotykach becomes much tastier and more aromatic. Although you can try it immediately after preparation. How long should the pottykach infuse? It depends on your patience) From a week or longer.
