Spinach with egg in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare the necessary products and baking dish.
STEP 2

Boil the spinach leaves in boiling water for no more than 1 minute./I used frozen ones, but do the same with fresh leaves/.
STEP 3

Place in a colander and rinse with cold water.
STEP 4

Squeeze the spinach and cut into ribbons. Transfer to a deep bowl.
STEP 5

Add cottage cheese, melted butter - mix.
STEP 6

Add 1/2 milk or cream, nutmeg, salt and pepper - mix.
STEP 7

Grease the mold with melted butter. Place the spinach mass, make two depressions and break the egg into them, lightly salt the egg on top. Carefully pour in the remaining milk, slightly piercing the spinach with a fork, being careful not to damage the yolk. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for approximately 18 - 20 minutes. Don't overdo it! The eggs should set /like a fried egg/. Serve immediately - do not reheat. Bon appetit !
