I whipped up some simple cookies in the oven today with my daughter. I still had a small piece of butter left (about 50 grams). The rest was replaced with margarine. Instead of vanilla sugar, I added a couple of pinches of vanillin. It took a little more flour (high grade) (about 20 grams). The dough turned out very soft and tender. Before shaping the cookies, I kept the dough in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. I rolled out the dough into a layer about 1 cm thick (maybe a little less). The board on which the dough was rolled out was lightly dusted with flour. My daughter cut out cookies from the dough using shaped cutters. We baked cookies on siliconized parchment at 190 degrees for 15 minutes. The cookies turned out crumbly and crispy, but not hard. When bitten, it does not crumble at all. The taste of the cookies is very delicate, moderately sweet. Great cookies! Everyone was happy, especially the children. Now I’ll have to cook twice as much.
