Shortbread pie with apples and raisins

Grate the butter from the freezer.

Add sugar and mix.
STEP 4

Then add the beaten egg and orange zest. Mix well.
STEP 5

Gradually add flour. You may need a little more or less flour.
STEP 6

You should get a soft, loose dough. Wrap it in film and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Lightly grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil and roll out our dough into a rectangular layer 0.5 cm thick. You can make one large pie. I decided to make 2 small pies.

Peel the apple and cut into thin slices.
STEP 9

Along the layer, in the middle part, we lay out apple slices.
STEP 10

Sprinkle them evenly with washed raisins. Sprinkle a little sugar on top (to taste depending on the sweetness of the apple).
STEP 11

Using a knife, cut the edges of the dough layer into ribbons and intertwine them so that they cover the filling.
STEP 12

Brush the top of the pie with beaten yolk and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. oven for about 20 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
STEP 13

This is such a fragrant pie we got. Cut into portions, let cool and invite everyone to drink tea!
