I made shortbread dough with sour cream according to this recipe. Instead of butter, I used creamy margarine. Combine cold margarine with sugar, flour, baking powder and grind into crumbs. Then I added the yolk and homemade sour cream. I combined all the ingredients into a ball, didn’t mix it too much, and put it in the freezer for an hour. The dough did not turn out completely homogeneous, as the author writes. I made shortbread cookies from shortbread dough with sour cream and covered them with chocolate glaze. The sour cream dough is easy to work with, it does not tear, does not stick, and behaves well when rolled out.
