Serbian bread Pogacice

Sandwiches with such bread will never be simple. Easily. Tasty. Some sprinkle bread with sesame seeds, others add cheese along with butter. Mine don't like this at all, so I brushed the bread with egg. And since we are supposed to have lunch with this bread, I added salt to the egg. Contrary to expectations, the bread is not very greasy, although it does have a hint of butter. I found the recipe on the Internet. Different authors have practically the same mistake: too much flour and not enough milk. And at the same time they write that the dough turns out soft. I kneaded the dough according to their recipe and barely kneaded it. I had to add milk. I kneaded it with my hands, because I wanted to know exactly the proportions and what kind of bun it turned out to be.

Sometimes I spoil my family with homemade bread, but not often, it gets eaten very quickly and then affects the waistline. Next time inspiration strikes, you should definitely bake this way. The recipe is excellent for yeast dough, quick and not particularly troublesome.

And yet, 300 ml of milk is enough for this amount of flour, maybe you have super flour. I kneaded the dough with a bread machine, and then did everything according to your photo, but sprinkled it with sesame seeds. Tasty!

I have the most ordinary flour. The milk was all absorbed. The bread turned out very fluffy. We ate it in half a day.
